PMD HumanCare Health Systems, Inc.

PMD HumanCare Women's & Children's Comprehensive Care and Research Hospital (Indonesia) was solely created to address the female health crisis that exists in the southeast Asian countries of Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

The female and children population in these countries are dying at alarming rates, most from diseases that can be prevented. Limited preventative healthcare programs exist only in the largest of cities. Rural villages where most of the population lives have no access to such healthcare and education. In most cases, the female deaths go un-recorded, as most of the population in these countries believe the hospitals are the last stop before death. In Indonesia alone, (of the cases reported), over 400,000 women die each year of diseases that could have been preventive, 51% of those women die within 3 days of arriving at the hospital. Being able to create a comprehensive healthcare system, a high school/college female healthcare education platform and an outreach initiative that reaches to the populous rural areas will change the mortality rate of women and children for generations.

As an example, Indonesia is a rapidly growing low to middle-income country with 262 million inhabitants from more than 300 ethnic and 730 language groups spread over 17,744 islands, which presents unique challenges for the current healthcare systems and universal health coverage (BPJS) with a population which has an average monthly income of 3.750M Rupiahs ($280 USD).

Looking back to see how far Indonesia healthcare has come, from 1960 to 2001, the centralized health system of Indonesia made gains as medical care infrastructure grew from virtually no primary healthcare facilities to 20,900 centers. From reported data*, life expectancy improved from 48 to 69 years, infant mortality decreased from 76 deaths per 1,000 live births to 23 per 1,000, and the total fertility rate decreased from 561 to 211. However, gains across the country were starkly uneven with major health gaps, such as the stagnant maternal mortality of around 300 deaths per 100,000 live births compared to minimal change in neonatal mortality. The centralized one size fits all approach did not address the complexity and diversity in population density and dispersion across islands, diets, diseases, local living styles, health beliefs, human development, and community participation. Decentralization of governance to 354 districts in 2001, currently 514 districts, further increased health system heterogeneity and exacerbated equity gaps. The novel BPJS system introduced in 2014 focused on accommodating diversity with flexible and adaptive implementation features with quick evidence-driven decisions based on changing needs. The mandatory BPJS system grew rapidly and covered 203 million people, (currently 168 million) the largest single-payer scheme in the world, improving health equity and service access in the larger cities. With early success, challenges have emerged, such as, the population that doesn't live in or around the larger cities and lower BPJS coverage including children up to 4 years old. In these rural villages, the quality as well as the access to health centers are much more limited, so rural families elect not to pay for the monthly BPJS when access to quality health centers and services are sub-par or non-existent.

Despite recent improvements in maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) in Indonesia, there remain significant disparities in access to quality MNCH services throughout the country, which can make a life-saving difference. Though Indonesia has made great strides in health care as outlined above, one of the biggest current health issues is the lack of education and quality preventative care for women such as mammograms, pap smears, pelvic exam, blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, dental, eye and immunizations. PMD HumanCare Health Systems has created a solution that will provide a continuous health platform for women and children to get the preventative and comprehensive care need to change the health of generations.

PMD HumanCare Health Systems structure has been designed to take advantage of the revenue created from medical research grants and partnerships. Being in a unique medical research area of southeast Asia, PMD can and will take full advantage of the $100 billion opportunity. Utilizing the revenue to operate and expand the non-profit PMD HumanCare Health System.

PMD HumanCare Health Systems, Inc., will begin the first of it's six non-profit healthcare systems in Southeast Asia beginning with Indonesia in 2019-2020 and Philippines to follow.

PMD HumanCare Heath Systems Network

Thousands of people in Central Java live in the rural areas where health facilities are inadequate, inaccessible, and unaffordable. PMD HumanCare offer medical services to our clients through our regional and medi-clinic healthcare platform.

In order to meet the rising demand for health services in Central Java, we propose to create a new regional healthcare network based on the community health needs assessment performed in Banjarnegara and surrounding area. We have determined the need for a comprehensive medical network made up of regional hospitals and clinics is very critical. Yet at the same time, we fully believe that this medical network must be integrated within the rural villages by creating an sustainable healthcare outreach program. The multi – disciplinary regional hospitals and clinics will serve as the nucleus of the PMD HumanCare platform. Key initial components for the success of this type of medical network will include self-sustaining small medi-clinics in each rural village.

PMD HumanCare clinics will provides services and comprehensive care of a small hospital that manages the intake from PMD HumanCare medi-clinics, with immediate and basic health care, general medicine, minor and major emergency, 6 bed over-night care, 24 hr emergency room, stabilization room, outpatient primary care facility, laboratory, mini- research center, pharmacy and accommodations for visiting healthcare providers and health education, wellness and nutrition class rooms.

The PMD HumanCare clinic will be setup to help to decrease post-emergency health event complications while increasing patient survival rates. The clinic employs state-of-the-art technology and skilled doctors and staff to administer life saving healthcare and if the emergency means transfer to PMD regional hospital or if need be PMD Women's and Children's Hospital, our state-of-the-art ambulance and healthcare staff will stabilize and transport the patient as quickly as possible to receive the quality healthcare that is needed. By bringing this elevated level of expertise to Central Java, local patients who might otherwise succumbed to their emergency or have had to travel to a Jakarta for treatment of complicated cases no longer have to leave home to receive the very best in healthcare.

The goals of the clinic and medi-clinics are to provide state-of-the art comprehensive medical care close to home and to offer a larger variety of minimally-invasive treatments to Central Java patients.
